Think You Need a Vision Statement? Think Again.

I’ve known Tony & Emily Morgan for a long time — over 25 years. We spent eight years together at Granger while raising our kids, doing a small group together, and leading the church. I have the highest love and respect for them. Tony is the Founder of The Unstuck Group, and we had a fascinating discussion recently.

Why was it fascinating? Because Tony was suggesting that mission statements might not be the most important document to guide us. And there is actually a better idea than vision statements. And a core values list? Well it’s possible that isn’t helping you either. I loved hearing Tony’s fresh thoughts about these decades-old practices of just about every established church. He thinks there is a better way.

Be sure to listen to our short conversation (you’ll even hear us riff about the Notre Dame vs Clemson game that we attended together), and then subscribe to The Unstuck Group podcast for even more great content.
